With less than 3 months to go before the November election, we are thrilled to announce the latest updates to our National Scores as part of our summer refresh. With topics ranging from healthcare and politics to the economy and techonoloy, our updated models provide a comprehensive overview of the issues shaping our perspectives today. With the latest polls showing a tight race, we are also pleased to announce the debut of our Harris vs Trump head to head model.
This year we have seen topics like Israel/Gaza, politician age limits, and immigration take center stage in public discourse. These models have been updated to reflect these critical issues and provide deeper insights into their impact.
With this comprehensive update, each of the 210 million voters in the L2 voter file now has a refreshed score representing their likelihood of agreeing with any of 140 given positions, including more than 20 new issues. This update leverages data from our spring 2024 national survey, which combined responses from IVR, emails, live telephone calls, text surveys, and an online panel. This robust dataset captures diverse perspectives and nuances across the political spectrum.
Our modeling process continues to integrate a rich array of indicators, including individual-level voter registration information, past voting behavior, demographic and consumer characteristics at both individual and household levels, as well as census and geographic-level data.
