Four Cycles Of Experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Haystaq is a data firm with extensive analytics and GIS mapping experience. Haystaq\u2019s Founder\/CEO and team leader for all of our redistricting projects, Ken Strasma, has been doing redistricting since 1991<\/strong>. In 2000<\/strong> and 2001<\/strong>, Mr. Strasma served as the liaison between the National Committee for an Effective Congress, and the Democratic National Committee\u2019s congressional and state legislative redistricting offices. In this role, Mr. Strasma supervised a large staff of data analysts and map drawers, and drew maps himself in approximately 30 states. In 2011<\/strong>, he was the project lead for our work for the Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission. Most recently in 2020<\/strong> and 2021<\/strong>, the Haystaq team have served as the technical redistricting consultants for the California Citizens Redistricting Commission, the City of San Diego, and over 40 other jurisdictions and municipalities in the state of California. Additional redistricting clients include the states of Virginia and Montana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
